Today there are about 20 fishermen working from Cadgwith, catching crabs, lobsters, monkfish and conger eels. a last view over the village before following the coast path with its spectacular views before decending again into Poltesco with its ruins of the old stone buildings of a serpentine. The Cadgwith Cove Inn is a short walk down the hill,they serve delicious meals andvarious local ales etc. There is usually some entertainment on offer too, including the famous Cadgwith Singers on Friday is a local shop and Post office in Ruan Minor and a small shop in Cadgwith. The nearest Supermarket is in Helston 10 miles away.

I have been a fan of the film Poltergeist for 2 decades now and consider it one of the best, if not, the best ghost movie ever filmed. It is somewhat surprising that it took me this long to read the novelization of the film.
